Theres a large agricultural show in August coming up that happens every year, its gets very busy with lots of people horses/cattle/farm animals etc.
(hopefully mare will be back in work by then)
Took my tb mare last year and we did okay considering she was very excitable.
Planning on taking her again but very limited to classes. They have hunter classes the usual inhand and jumping, cob clases, m&m classes, coloured classes and a r2r class, no riding horse classes though.
Last year we did w&t dressage test and attempted a jumping class.
So unless we do jumping or dressage there isnt anything suitable.
However this year i was really set on doing a riding horse class but see at this show there is only the r2r class (non qualifying show). My girl is a TB and is fully registered with weatherbys, she was bred and intended to race - she did training but wasnt suited so never ran. She is unnamed on her passport.
Now, will she be eligible for the r2r class? i just want to take her for the experience am not expecting to get placed or anything as we have a way to go with some issues - would it be wrong of me to take her in the r2r class if she maynot be eligable?
