Right the passporting rules have changed as of january...does anyone know an up to date price for the rabies vax and/or passport please?! I have a feeling this could get expensive with 4 :rolleyes:
 
We paid about £100 per dog last year - but that was before the rules changed. I *think* the blood test bit was about £30 - £35 so knock that off. We had 10 done and they gave us a 10% discount.
 
Your vet does the passport for you (most vets are approved to offer this service).

We paid loads of money but that was because we had to re-do the blood tests which 4 dogs all failed the first time (sigh!), then they went and abolished the blood tests a year later (super sigh!). Should be a lot cheaper now!
 
Can someone please tell me what the changes are? Have just had dog re-vaccinated against rabies, and had put it on calendar to go for the blood test later - so does this mean I don't have to?
Ps he 'failed' the blood test the first time too
 
Hi my vet quoted about £60 - 65 for the rabies jab and passport/paperwork. The blood test is no longer required but I think I might opt to have it done to be sure the rabies vaccine is effective.
