Racesafe body protector

Could those with a racesafe level 3 and who are a size 10/12 (nearer a 12 but a 10 in some things) let me know what size body protector they have. Recently bought a new one, fitted by qualified fitter but it does seem very tight. It is extra small. Now my old bp was old (as in far too old) and not fit for purpose so I may just have forgotten how fitted they are particularly when they are still in the moulding to you stage.

I could go back to shop and ask but thought I would see who has what.

Mine was small and I'd have been a size 8 when I got it. It was incredibly comfy!

Look on the web site at the measurements and compare? Would give you an idea as to wether yours is correct

Unless the sizing on the new ones has changed, I'd say they come up big. I have a large bust but a medium fits me perfectly. I'm usually a large.

I wouldn't say they mould in the same way as rigid ones but you do have the laces at the side which you could adjust a bit. However your old one may have got looser over time and you may just not be used to wearing something that tight.

I'm a size 10 and have a Small. I'm not sure it fits me though: it forces my shoulders forward and it's a little too long in the body too (baring in mind I myself am long in the body). I always wear my BP, but once I forgot it and rode without, and realised how compromised my riding position is when I am wearing it. Annoying thing is I have a good natural position that I used to get comments on. Since I bought my BP I'm constantly having to remind myself 'shoulders back, sit up tall'. Darn things. I'm stuck in a trap now because I'd never not wear one - I'd feel like I wasn't wearing my hat! Anyway, I'll shut up now...

I am size 10 and mine is XS (RS 2010, level 3 bought couple of years ago). Had it fitted and liked it from the start.

I am also a 12 and wear a medium. I tried a friends small on, and although I could get it done up there was not much room for movement!

Small but with a shorter back, fits great even over a jumper. Don't forget they should be snug and are adjustable at the side

Also a 12 and mine is medium, but on the tightest settings. Small would have been fine in summer, but definitely not for winter.

I'm a size 10 and have the XS (I chose the short back option) - I think they may have changed their sizes in the past few years though as my old RS was a small which fitted perfectly at the time, but this was too big for me when i bought my new one last year (and I've stayed the same size!)

I brought one (and tried lots on) at Your Horse Live, I am a 10/12 (5'11") and have an extra small, extra long. Definitely think the sizing is generous
