We've been shopping today for a BP for my OH. He had his first nasty-ish fall from a horse three weeks ago and has made the decision to wear a BP, particularly when riding the ex-racers here in Hong Kong, as he has a slight weakness in his lower back and doesn't want to risk making it worse.
We went BP shopping today and looked at Tipperary and Racesafe BPs for him. As he's planning to wear a BP for most riding it needs to be comfortable. I love my own Racesafe and barely notice that I'm wearing it - but it looks like the Tipperary is even less bulky and more flexible.
I was wondering if you lovely people could advise on whether the Tipperary is as protective as the RS (it's a good few mm thinner) and your experiences with it? I'd not heard of it before and we're wondering if it's worth the extra money!
Tea and liqueur choccies (it's after 6pm here so they're allowed
) in return for you help
