Rachel Peel conviction overturned!!

This is a disgusting state of affairs. What people will do defies belief sometimes,

Didn't realise dogs were involved too, and Gordon setters my favourite breed, have had four. Hope dogs weren't put down as well.

This is terrible! I can't believe she literally got away with murder of these poor horses..

I'd met Rachel Peel on the circuit and she seemed like a lovely lady - obviously not the case! But I cannot understand why these wonderful arabians met the fate they did. All the RSPCA needed to do was contact the Arab Horse society (who I gather offered assistance) and the majority would have been rehomed!

Despicable!

They are the ultimate con artists - I stood at the ringside when the lovely Taragun was presented with the WAHO trophy and thought "what a great family" - whilst you look at the happy line up in the link Faracat posted this was in the same year that Stephen Peel (on right) had been convicted of cruely for leaving 67 sheep to die and rot in a field.

Thoroughly evil all of them.

MotherofChickens.

Rhetorical? Mmmm? Just seems strange to me how 'anyone' who is known to be a little trigger happy was involved in the care and keeping of RSPCA rescues. Of course, these thoughts are merely my horse whisperings.

I remember that their picture was on the front of The Arabian magazine.

What an absolutely travesty this whole thing was. I think its the cruelty case that has stuck with me more than any other. My heart broke for those people desperately searching for their horses. By the looks of it Evie Peel has multiple horses still. I do understand that she wasn't considered responsible, but I don't for one second believe she had no knowledge of the rotting corpses and dying animals.

She must have known it was going on though I agree she is just as bad in my view she did nothing.
