Racing Insurance Australia!

This is very last minute but I leave for Australia tomorrow for a job at a racing yard as well as travelling!

My employers have workers compensation insurance but my parents want me to get insured with someone that will cover me too (even though my employers already are!!). Would you recommend I do get extra insurance? If so who with? Or has anyone else done anything like this?

A couple of friends went to Aus to do this and none of them had their own insurance there. One fell off and did herself a back injury BUT it was a recurring one that she had had before she left Scotland and had just aggrevated it so she went travelling for a few months to settle it back down again. The other 2 never had an issue. It is entirely up to you.
