Zoom has been jumping just over a year. We are going to subscribe to the Sandhurst draghunt this year and it says that jumps are between 2' and 3', if bigger there would be a gate.

I have never jumped showjumps since I don't have any so I don't know how high Zoom and I can jump and therefore if we are going to be ok

The biggest jumps we have done were at RAF Halton ride, which she didn't even blink at. Does anyone know how big they are????

Hi
the smaller jumps at Halton are around 2'
Thebigger ones go between 2'6" and 3'6"
The plane is about 3' with a good spread on it too, The second jump is 2'6"

I am positive you will be fine- enjoy!

Ah those photos are lovely, Zoom looks really cute

If you both had no problems jumping those jumps you will be fine drag hunting. They will be a lot less colurful and less spooky than the ones in the pics and prob bout the same size with a few slightly bigger. Doesnt look like Zoom will have a problem though looks very eager

Website says the fences were upto 2ft6 but 25 fences had the bigger options so if you managed any of those they were probably nearer 3ft.

I thought that Provost Jet was at least 2ft 9 went back to look at it on foot and it appeared bigger than on horseback, I saw a couple of ponies bank it!

Could you maybe go to a meet on foot first to check it out if your worried, I am sure you would be fine though.

I know.....poor Zoomy with her boot!.....kinda ruined the photo a bit.

She's such a good little pony! Even with one-eye and crap me she has really taken to jumping. Thanks for that guys, they really didn't feel that big so I reckon we'll be fine.
