Who's going?

I might be going on a 17.2hh ex showjumper. He is entered but his owner cant make it and I've been offered the ride...I've never ridden him before and am trying him out on weds!

I normally ride a 15.2hh wb X arab!!!! I've never ridden anything that big before. I'm scared that i'll get a nosebleed!!! lol!

Yeah, my yard go every year and this year will be my first time! I'd be lying if i said I wasnt scared lol!!

Prob wont jump the plane but will see how cocky i'm feeling!!! haha! I havent jumped more than a log since college!
 
I was back at college yesterday for two novice tests. Chi tried to drag me back to her old box on trying to leave the yard!
 
At 17.2 hh you won't need to jump it, just step over it!

If your at an RAF station, at least you can ask for oxygen, if the air is too thin at that altitude

at least you wont be on the bluebell ride - my hubby did that and thought he would have brakes on our 17 hander in a snaffle....lets just say he didnt and there werent many bluebells left in the clearings once they careered round and round!
 
I'm going with 2 friends. our start time is 12.30ish.
Is anyone going to walk the course?? I'm thinking of doing it maybe on saturday.... is it compulsory to walk it??

VERY excited. I went last year on my other po and we jumped the plane, she was soo excited and flipped over backwards at the start..This mine might be more sensible but not sure if we'll jump the plane.
