Rage collapsed today - trying not to worry but....

My horse recently collapsed and had blood tests done which showed that her red blood cell level was extremely low and she is on a course of medicine for 3 months.
She was on the ground for about 2mins and then didn't know where she was and was uncoordinated whihc sounds a bit different to your horse.
 
Yes it was a treeless but the vet felt that the severity of the collapse warranted immediate retirement. Had it just been the sinking I would have continued to ride her in her ordinary saddle but as I say, the following week she crashed down, completely unconscious, and it was nothing to do with girthing this time. I hope Bounty's horse is ok, I'm just saying to be aware that this is a possibility, however slight. Narcolepsy is a strange beast and it's almost impossible to confirm.
