Does anyone here have experience with rage syndrome who could talk to me a little bit about it, or know of a vet with an interest/specialisation in canine neurology?
I think most good large vets could offer or provide a referral for a CT scan.
Rather than rage syndrome, a lot of behaviour can be isolated to a pain response, either physical or a neurological issue, sometimes it can be caused by physical trauma to the head or triggered by memory, response to pain being issued in the past.
Heard a very sad story at the weekend, dog has already been shipped off to a new home apparently, when for what I can see, he was defending himself, completely natural to do although misinterpreted by humans.
Often thought of getting a CT scan for my female, she can be a tad erratic, but having said that, the more I see of her mother, the more I see where it comes from!
