My horse has been grazing in a field which has recently (last few weeks) grown some ragwort rosettes. Going to dig them all out today, and check field at least every week, but feel the need to feed him a supplement incase he has eaten some. Global Herbs seem to do quite a lot of things to help ragwort, and two seem most relevant:

Restore, a general pick-me-up, but says also helps Ragwort concerns?

RagAid, says it should be fed whenever Ragwort is of concern, and helps liver?

Which do you recommend? Is there anything else I should be doing? I feel like a bad owner, why didn't I spot it before!?

Firstly - don't beat yourself up about it - Ragwort is an evil weed that just pops up overnight - I walk and poo pick my fields everyday (and we have no ragwort locally) and overnight seemingly a ragwort plant popped up overnight!! The seeds get spread by wind, birds etc If your grazing is good it is unlikely your horse have eaten it so don't panic!!

Give Global Herbs a call - they will be able to give you the best advice on which would be the most appropraite - I have used Restore before as a general pick me up - and it does work!!

Just make sure you have gloves on when you dig it up, leave it to dry for a bout a week (fat chance in this rain!!) and then burn it.

i had a pony that died from rag wort poisioning no vault of mine it is horrible stuff. if you think she may of eat some do ragaid first until bottle as gone then one bottle of restore and that should be fine!

Thanks for all the help! Sorry about that babybells. =C

He is having a B vitamin supplement anyway atm, which seems to act like Restore...

I think I'll stop feeding him his B supplement and feed the Ragaid for a while, then once the ragaid's finished I'll just use up what's left of the B supplement.
