Ragwort Please Help!!!!

Until now, I did not realize how woolly the ragwort legislation is. I assumed landowners could easily be fined up to £20,000 for allowing ragwort to flourish. Here is another interesting site that explains about ragwort, myths and facts.I would not have known about it had this post not been here. Thank-you.

Thankyou for these sites, our concern is the uncontrolled spread of this weed will start causing issues, taking action now will stop it becoming a bigger issue so I think its right to do something now.

The petition is a wonderful idea and certainly the regulations need to be tighted to something closer to those appertaining to japanese Knotweed. But I wonder if perhaps a great principle is being let down by poor spelling and grammar in the petition itself? I'd hate to see this fall for something so simple. Are you as the Author about to ammend it once it is signed?
