Rain Rain Rain. Who's been riding in this weather??

Well I don't know about any one else, but here in Surrey it has been raining hard ALL DAY. Could'nt ride in this weather too wet. How about you horsey lot....

Nope not me Had a very lazy day today well I didnt I did 3 horses and was helping people move stables. But didnt want to ride in the rain I was soaked when I got home And I was hardly in the rain. Will ride tomorrow though he had day of rest today which he was glad of

We SJ schooled in the rain on Thursday. We dressage schooled in the rain last night and Xc schooled in the rain tonight. Rather rain than hard ground and blistering heat!

I lunged today but in a suckers gap, it managed to stop raining for about an hour.

I have ridden all week, she needs to be ridden everyday to keep her competition fit and weight off

Have to while madam is recovering from her injury as she needs little and often. I couldn't beleive that it was pouring with rain and there were still flies everywhere

i rode out for an hour at about 5pm tonight, it wasnt too bad. the weekend is my main time that i ride,i dont tend to get the chance in the week so i try to force myself regardless of the weather come the weekend. i shall be braving it tomorrow morning, though i think the weather is going to be worse still

Me too!! I had to! But my mare was not a happy bunny!!

She kept trying to turn her bum into the rain!!

Never mind she's all tucked up in bed now with a full tummy!!!

I gave up tonight after work and lunged him instead, didn't get quite as wet standing in the middle and actually he was really good! Dried him off with his fleece after and made a fuss so he was happy!

I'm lucky enough to have an indoor school at my yard, so I've been riding today and didn't get wet!!

Yes it’s been tipping it down in Kent all day, but I’m not a fair weather rider (well maybe sometimes) I did have my lesson today and it actually went really well!

We had light misty drizzle first thing this morning so managed to get out for a hack - it turned into heavy rain by afternoon though, and you wouldn't have caught me out riding in that!
