Rain!!

We still have had barely a drop, so dry and dusty here. When it was forcasted in never turned up, and we had about 10 mins spitting rain yesterday evening. Could do with more, but not much is forecasted here sadly.

Sure to put my foot in it now, will have a wet boggy muddy winter now for sure!

Its not really stopped here for days, torrential downpours but so hot and muggy. Flies are awful, gates are muddy, need to buy some wellys!

Think second hay cuts and grass for winter, it will make you feel much better about it! I can almost see our grass growing by the minute!

I know, shouldnt complain really, must be terrible to have no grass at this time of the year like some HHO's. Really feel for them

Please don't complain, I'd gladly swap a dustbowl for some rain.
Yes I was in cambridgeshire yesterday and wow what a difference, Cheshire green, verdant and muddy and over there arrid, brown and dusty, just over a 100miles
east !!!!! however saw some very nice golden straw on its way west ....

its terrible here in Liverpool flooding everywhere.

Still hardly any here! Keep getting forecast heavy showers, and still waiting! The fatty paddock is v bare which is brilliant, but so muggy and so many flys so please send rain this way!!!

Wow, you guys are impressive, someone must have good links with him upstairs. The heavens have just opened, pelting it down!!!

I'm in Manchester too, and want the sunshine back NOW! Fields are getting churned, and the more churned they get, the earlier they will have to come in for winter :( And it feels like only yesterday that i was trudging around in knee high snow... so i don't want to have to think about that again yet! The grass looks great, please send the rain down south now and swop us for some sunshine?

Still dry as a bone here is Sussex.

We have had a few spits this week but nothing major. We need some 'speady' rain badley as the ground it like concrete and the grass is just not growing.

Still bone dry here in North Wiltshire. We've had two light rainshowers in the last six weeks and getting desperate!!!! Looking dark and cloudy outside at the moment though and the window cleaner has just been, so that might do it :)

We chose Maine et Loire because it is not normally prone to drought but this year it is one of three depts. officially in drought M&L, Vendee and Deux Sevres. Mayenne and Sarthe are on 'alert'.

I know we prayed for rain but when is it ever gonna stop :(

We have had loads of rain too.

The heavy showers we had yesterday followed by bright sunshine!

It was really needed tough.

Our fields had hardly any grass and what was there was brown.
Now the fields are full of lush "green" grass!

We had a lovely storm in Norfolk this afternoon, its still spitting now - I can almost here the grass sighing with relief. We have no grass at all - I have been feeding haylage for the last month!
