RAIN!!!!!!!

It has absolutely peed down all afternoon here in Bucks - thunder, lightening, hail, wind and torrential rain for about 5 hours on and off!

As you said - loads more needed but it is a start - everything was turning into a dust bowl!

Thank gOodness for the wet stuff. Had forgotten what it looked and felt like. More annoying is that we are just outside Lincoln and the town has had loads and we have next to nothing, so hurray for the rain today

Yep, it bucketed down here in canterbury :D finally! although my poor delicate TB was out without a rug on in it :( maybe he should learn to be roughty toughty!

all day it has been drizzly on and off but about 7 oclock it chucked it down really hard, but now it has cleared. hopefully we will get some more very soon!!! and just looked out the window and it is blue b*oody skies lol

I was glad to see the rain today, hopefully the grass will start to grow as we had very heavy rain then brilliant sunshine on and off all day :)

Lovely, lovelt rain, today Bliss!!!:D:D Must admit I was starting to get murderous thoughts on these smiley weathergirls, saying well the lights showers will pass rapidly and the sun and warm weather will be back, when they most of known how desperate we all are for rain, I'm still surprised I've got 2 tellies left as I've had to fight strong urges to throw something at them.:o:o:o:o And as I'm typing this a very black cloud is coming over, just hope it lets down some more rain.:):):):)

I was so relieved when it rained today even though it was only 5 mins the first time and 15 the second. However, when I went up to the yard only 4 miles away it had not rained there. Curses.

In two minds about the rain, well three actually. A) it's great the grass isn't growing as my laminitis prone Arab can be turned out but B) he doesn't like the hard ground, and C) the grass needs to grow so there'll be hay/haylage at reasonable prices. Can't win!!

ok you lot down south - and before the police start patrollin and wiping my post for PC correctness - im southern born and bred - have the feckin rain - ok we needed some but pleaseeeee how much ** picks up rain clouds and passes to the south** all yours to enjoy :)

We had some too today in South Lincs. Might see some grass on the paddocks and hay fields growing again. Never thought I would be so pleased to see mud on the horses today!
