The weather forcast heavy rain with some thunder-which is greatly needed but so far weve only had a light shower, any one had anything else?:)

I'm in West Cornwall. We've had rain, wind and fog this week. I was in East Yorkshire last week, and it was sunny.

I'm sick and tired of rain and wind and fog, and so is the grass!!!

ETA. We also had hail today. It can bog off!

Weve hardly had any rain since all this bad weather began just snow and ice!

It's Cornwall..all we have got is rain. We did have a small amount of sleet, and a light dusting of snow, for interest, but mostly flooding. The grass isn't growing, as we have no sun, and it was the same last year....we're still feeding hay in the fields, as we were last June. It's quite depressing!

We need some serious rain just a day should be enough to kick start the grass growing ready for the nice warm weekend, we've had the last two days of it raining a bit ivernight but not enough, I'm more than happy for it to rain overnight and sunny in the day but only if its going to actually rain lol.

Rainy - foggy - horrible in Kent :(
No thunder storms yet but it's so muggy and feels like there's no air so I'd say we are probably due one

We had some drizzle in Cumbria yesterday, but nothing really heavy - to be honest we could do with it, the ground is seriously dry and in the west of the county some scumbags have been lighting grass fires and have caused blazes on the dry grass of over a km in size. And I want my grass to grow!

Rained on and off yesterday, some heavy, here in Gloucestershire. Much as I hate to admit it, it was needed as my paddocks were bone dry. Hopefully this will kick start the grass growth which I badly need!

We've had a fair bit overnight in Northamptonshire and it is still raining quite heavily. Yesterday it was raining first thing but had cleared up by 10am and then started again about 7.15pm I can be so precise as I had just started my warm down after schooling :)

It's raining here! I got my grass seed in (or what Parcelfarce saw fit to deliver of it) yesterday afternoon so I'm really rather delighted. We haven't seen rain for ages, the only precipitation we've had for months is snow.

I am in Nottingham and we need some rain. Fields are too dry now! My patio looks wet this morning so have had some rain. Ideally rain over night and sun during the day :D I do have grass though now. x

South West Wales and we haven't had rain for weeks until yesterday and then it was just light drizzle, we have the same today. It's just not warm enough for the grass to start growing though. Really need some grass now my horses/ponies are fed up of hay they just want some grass. I have a severe case of grass envy and my OH is fed up of me commentating on every field we pass.

Peeing rain here fairly consistently since yesterday morning. That's good because this morning I can definitely see tiny bits of green in the field, and the horses weren't standing looking dejected at the fence waiting for their hay when I arrived, they were off nibbling something.

West of Scotland seems to have been getting summer in March the last few years - we get three or four weeks of totally dry weather, then it rains solidly all April and May, June and July are grey and cold. I won't complain too much, provided I can stop doing two hay deliveries a day to the field - I would just love the chance to clean all the bits of hay out of my wee car!

ETA - yesterday morning the first half hour or so was snow! Fortunately this quickly turned to rain...
