What are they like? I've got to book my boy in for a CT scan there in Feb - they are about a 5 hour drive from me and he will have to stay overnight

Went there once on a racing open day - don't know how good they are but facilities looked impressive

They are the only place in the country that do a standing sedation CT scan - hence the 5 hours traveling

I see... But since it's used by race yards far and wide in the area from what I can tell I think you'll be in safe hands.

Was a while ago but from what I can remember the staff seemed lovely. Showed us the entire operation - we went as prospective owners. Fascinating.

Years ago I used to go out with one of the vets in this practice ( he has moved on since then), and they were all very good, very caring and very capable. They have some of the best facilities around, a very good reputation and they are frequently used as a referral centre by other vets. Their yard is very professional and one of the vets lives on site in a cottage right next to the stables so he is around over night if needed (my ex-boyfriend spent many a night sleeping in a stable with a critical case!).
