Raised Poles

I've been advised to school my mare over some raised poles. Does anyone have a clever and cheap alternative to Polepods?

Upturned cheap plastic plant pots, they even have ridges to keep the poles in place

Pound shop potties.
Even have a hollow for the poles to sit in, come in scary colours & you can weight them with sand.
