ok so i have had a bottle or so

which got me thinking, never a good thing.

tomorrow i go to look at a foal, i have never had a foal, i have 4 horses/ponies i have a 2 year old a 4 four old and a 11 year old plus a 14 year old.

how different is having a foal, to having a baby.

when i fell with my first i had no idea, not a clue.
now i could tell you all you need to know about babies, trust me mine have had it all, 3 very different pregnancys, 2 sections very different,1 normal birth if you would want to call it that.
3 very differnent children, each with there own problems.
one very bright
one has self harmed from 12 months, she is now 4 and still does it, ocd is on its way.
and a boy i will say no more.

when we have kids, we tend to have no idea, i read up so much before i had my first, and still do.
how different is that to having a horse/ pony, i am no different with my horses/ponies, i like to find out as much as i can.

hope this makes some kind sence
off to have a drink

I recon a foal has got to be easier! as you can walk away and leave them in a field, but remembering how my boy was as a foal, i wish I was a little more stricter with him and showed him more when he was a baby, then maybe he would'nt be such a fruit loop now! lol

foals are easy as long as they're out with a good older nanny to put them in their place if necessary. otherwise, be firm but fair, be kind, show them you love them, never lose your temper however tempting. just like a child, probably.
and the best bit is, if they end up completely impossible, you can just shoot them...!

(this is inadvisable with children, obviously.)
