With the mild and wet winters we seem to be having I've been wondering about the airmax and dry liner to help dry horse off under a turnout after exercise and also whether it would be good for just giving a bit of space between a no fill and the horse when it's pouring with rain for hours?

If so, which is better? The airmax or the dry liner?
 
The air max liners are excellent for drying off a wet/muddy horse. If the horse is dry and it’s very wet out I put a 50g liner underneath a no fill. Horseware don’t do 50g fill liners, but Premier Equine do, and they fit my Rambos.

The dry liners are newer and I will be interested to hear about them, too.
 
I'm intrigued by the dry-liner as I haven't got around to clipping yet, I'm often faced with a sweaty horse I need to dry off. Fine in the evenings as I just chuck a thermatex on overnight but when I ride in the mornings I want to turn-out afterwards. I usually stick him under the solarium for 15 minutes then brush the sweat out and chuck a 50g on and turn him out, my theory being modern rugs are pretty breathable and he will dry off quite quickly with a roll and a walk around and the 50g will stop him getting a chill. However, the dry-liner does look very tempting! It's out of stock in the size I need though so that will give me some time to deliberate 😁
 
I don't know about the dry liner, but I do have both an Airmax rug and liner. They are surprisingly warm - I'm using the liner under a no-fill on an unclipped thoroughbred. She is plenty warm, to the point where I haven't had to get the thicker liners out yet. The rug version, I have only used on its own, but it does dry them off quickly.
 
Mine are taking all night to dry at the moment! I do need to reclip but even the out of work ones are toasty! Would possibly be interested in the dry liner but I find an hour with thermatex then they’re ok to go out in a modern turnout anyway?

The benefit of the airmax liner is they can go straight out. Its really weird material that dries them but doesnt get wet itself.
 
Thanks all, that's good to know that the airmax is useful and works. I'm struggling a bit at the moment with the weather being mild and waiting to do another clip so it sounds like it would help with that.

It's really hard to know from the website description what the difference between what the airmax and dry liner do
