The velcro on the chest of my Duo has never stayed done up, but the two trigger clips keep the rug on satisfactorily....

Do I .....

1... Leave it as it is..
2... Have it washed and ask the rug people to put a thread through and back again type fastening on the front????

If I do the second option how much is it likely to cost???

I bought a 2nd hand Rambo Duo last autumn. Whilst I cleaned the rug and the velcro there were still some long hairs stuck from its previous owner. I simply sewed some new velcro (the rough side only) on top of the old stuff and now it always stays done up.

I'm not sure if it's just the velcro not being very good as my friends Rambo wug never stays done up and hers isn't full of hair.
 
Mine has never stayed done up..... nor did the one I had before it (changed as it leaked) but I thought that that one was because it was a size too small!!!

Would hate to find that if I modified it that it might rip!!!
 
I wouldn't put a thread through fastening on just because I like how quick the clips are.

I didn't modify mine at all just sewed on new rough side of velcro onto what was already there (couldn't unpick the old stuff!) It was tough to sew through but for 70p odd of velcro it was well worth it (took me forever to do though).

Maybe the velcro they use just isn't very "sticky"
 
Mine exactly the same i useually put somthing underneith so the clips dont rub her chest!! we should all right to rambo maybe get some freebees hha x
