Anyone know where the best place to find one of these is? I bought a duo last year, 6'3, I think it came with a Medium sized neck cover (will need to double check!). But it seems a bit small on my cob-X who has a larger-than-normal-relative-to-her-size neck!

So was looking to buy the next size up to try.

Best price I've seen is £40.80 at Surrey Equestrian. Anyone know of anywhere cheaper or an alternative that would fit the duo? (It has two strips of double sided velcro either side to attach to the neck of the rug, not clips to d-rings)

Thanks!

ah damn I also have a medium sat in the cupboard I would have let you have. I really think they should let you pick what neck size you get (my boy is only 5'9 so neck cover is tiny)

never found them any cheaper and as I only paid £70 for the rug he goes without.

yup not a chance (have a rhino) he'd have to stand with his neck completley straight!

Frank has a blanket (as his neck is always his fluffiest sweatiest bit and will coping for the first time this year without a huge long mane (cos I have pulled it!) out 7am- 5pm. He told me he would be fine, I think.

Yeah, so will she I'm sure, I just don't want the neck getting ridiculously fluffier than the other clipped bits and needing redone more often!

She's a hot girl anyway and only ever went up to 200g total rug weight last winter, I tried 300g on the coldest days and she was too hot! Wish I was the same...! Keep thinking I should sell the 300g liner as I'll never use it, but then think I should keep it just in case!

i hate my duo too but am persevering with it, lost/left neck cover at previous yard - would be interested in buying the neck cover in medium if was for sale? mine was baggy on horse (tb) as far as i recall

I had the same problem for my OH's cob but I got the local rug repair lady to extend the velcro straps.... It works brilliantly and much cheaper than buying a new one!

Hi there, I've just been searching the net as I have this very problem!

My boy is a Hanovarian warmblood, with what I would call, a normalish muscled neck & his Duo neck that came with his 6'6" rug throttles him as he eats!
Have been trying to find out the measurements of the XL version, but he's not a massive horse & it'd probably be way too long.

Anyway, the purpose of my ramble was to say that I've read tonight that someone added extra webbing to make the straps under the neck longer & have solved their problem!
Will be having a go!

I quite like the ease of the different liners with the duo, but have to admit to a few stitching problems which I REALLY wouldn't expect for something that expensive. They have replaced very easily though.
