Just wondering if anyone had one of these. I didnt know they existed until yesterday when i was reading a friends Horse & Hound mag from November last year

. They seem excellent in the description but lots of money to waste if i dont get on with it.

So what do you think of yours? Any feedback appreciated.

My horse lived in his for most of the winter. Very versatile rug.

I have three different liners for it.

The 300g that it came with, plus a 100g and 400g liner.

I'm very happy with mine. But agree that theyr;re very pricey.

I have one for my lad - brilliant rug! I have a 300g liner & a 100g liner & I haven't had to use another outdoor rug since I bought it!
Didn't realise they do 400g liners too?! I might invest in one of those...! Then again my boy is HOT even when fully clipped so probably won't need a heavier liner?!

i bought a rambo duo 2 years ago when they came out, and i have to say i was not impressed, it has been in tack room for 1.5 years now doing nothing. im sticking to my Fal rugs they are far superior well worth the money .

love my duo. used it all winter and still using the outer now as a lightweight turnout as so breathable. I got mine with a 200g & 100g liners, which are brilliant as under rugs under any other rug in stable as well. very breathable and also warm- mine TB has never been cold or sweaty in hers. never needed a 2nd TO rug.
definitely think it's worth the money- if you start adding up how much it would cost to get equivalent quality rug combinations (HW TO, LW TO, neck cover for HW, neck cover for LW, rug liners/under rugs) it will cost more than the duo!

Rubbish, went back to rambo supremes... some of the clips broke which held the liner to the rug, outer rug didnt cover the whole of the liner so it kept getting wet and muddy.
I brought 2 of them for 2 horses and all the diff weight liners, which i regret now, but u live and learn. Also some of the liner have torn too.
Much simpler to just have supremes and in diff weights.

I like my Duo - didnt rub horses mane or shoulders like some heavy rugs do - and great that I have 2 rugs in one, so havent had to buy an extra one, and now that you can get the different weight liners. I have had mine for 2 winters and it has been absolutely fine. I think with any rug someone will love it and someone will hate it - bet if you asked what people thought of Fal rugs some would be negative and they are even more than the Rambo's!!!

Love mine! Has kept my TB warm all winter and love the fact i can wash the liners in my washing machine which has kept it lovely and fresh all winter

Love mine, did rub his mane a bit and the chest velcro never stays done up, but he has good hairy shoulders and he was always toasty.

Lived out in it 24/7 even through the snow

Only gripe was the velcro, and loved being able to change weights and wash in machine. Havent had it cleaned though, thought it could do another winter first

Love mine, used Rambo rugs for years, yes they are expensive, but the last Rambo outdoor rug I had lasted 7 years, so when you calculate it on a yearly basis, was relatively cheap.
