Since there's a lot of chat today about rugs (must be the miserable weather making everyone think of winter!), I was wondering where the best place would be to look for a 6'3 Rambo Duo? Greenmule has a decent price on them @ £185.

I've figured I might sell my current lot of rugs and just get the Duo and liners- less washing to do at the end of the winter etc, plus easier to mix & match depending on what the unpredictable Scottish weather decides to do!

I'd been hankering after a Rhino Wug, but realised that after I spent the best part of £100 on one, I'd be as well trading in my other rugs which are fairly new and getting the Duo.

Any ideas? Anyone know of any looking for a home...?

They are really good, my mare used to practically live in hers... it's now safely packed away for the next horse... It's worth splashing out...

Will try ebay this evening (work blocks it, boo!), googgled and not seen any hits on freeads sites, but may need to do more digging!

I know they can be a bit love/hate, but I really like the Horseware Ireland stuff and figured that when you split the cost between a 100g, 200g, 300g and 400g Rambo rug, £50 isn't bad!

I can hopefully ebay or sell through H&H classifieds my other rugs and get a big chuck to put towards it.

I got a Rambo Duo last Christmas. Love it.
However, I had to buy one size bigger than my normal size as when horsie put her head down, quite a lot of her bum was showing.

I thought, like yourself, buy one Rambo duo and get rid of the rest, but even with no liners, the duo is still quite heavy, so I still have my rambo lite which I use in this lovely Scottish summer weather

I think you will find best prices on e-bay.

I have a Duo for the lad. And really like it's versatility. I bought mine of Ebay - one of the shops on there - and will try and find the name for you as they are a very good company to deal with.

However, I have to say in terms of real value for money I can thoroughly recommend Premiere Equine. I don't know about the smaller horse - but for the larger ones they are generously sized, and are actually deep enough to give them full body and depth coverage. Since discovering them last year I have bought three of their rugs. A HW stable rug, a MW turn out and just recently a waterproof summer weight rug. All for less in total than I paid for the Duo.

I know! I got all excited, but then couldn't find a 6'3.

I emailed to ask. She takes a 6'3 in the Rhino original rug that I have for her- someone mentioned that you may need a larger size- do you think this is the case? I'd maybe be tempted to try the 6'6 at that price! (hope it's not a typo and they've missed a "1" off the front!

Scotsmare- I'll PM you!
