Wonder if anyone can advise please. I have a Rambo Plus rug heavy weight rug which is great...or was until today when beloved managed somehow to do serious damage to it...sigh. It is red with what was white/silvery bindings. As money is somewhat tight I looked on a well known site for a 2nd hand one to replace mine, better not mention site as HHO might not like it? There is 1 for sale but it has black bindings, at least around the full neck it does ie not the same as the one I have altho it is described as being heavy weight. Does anybody know if the black bindings indicate it is a medium weight or have a heavyweight rug with black bindings. Maybe as the rug is descibed as being newer than mine, Horseware have changed their design slightly? Altho looking at new ones on the web it would appear that the rugs still have light coloured bindings. Don't want to bid for the rug if it isn't heavy weight as beloved might be chilly altho it would be HIS FAULT having wrecked the lovely one he had!
 
Hi, I believe the black binding indicates a medium weight as I have one :) Horseware would be able to confirm but I would say if its got black binding then its not heayweight.
 
Thanks jenni, I'll contact Horseware and see what they say but have a feeling you are right thinking black means medium...good of you to bother appreciated.
 
Yes, black trim is middle weight, I'm afraid.

What size are you looking for? I have a v new HW one of those for sale in a 6' ;)
