I sent first one back before Xmas and it took 9 weeks to get a replacement.

Now this one leaks in the same place. After all this I now want my money back but shop owner will want to send it back again as if they say they won't replace it then she is stuck with a 2nd hand rug that leaks

Last time she sent it back she had checked it with me beforehand, but Rambo tried to say there was nothing wrong with it:mad: Luckily she told them she had checked it otherwise I would have been stuck

I spoke to Rambo previously and they say their policy is for items to be checked BEFORE a replacement is agreed.

How can I change her mind?
What are my legal rights?

That is strange, Ive had my Rambos years and never had a problem. Where is it leaking?

It is the darts on the rump. Probably wouldn't notice unless either you looked for it or had another rug underneath that soaked it up, but with how much they cost I am not happy

It looks like they use too large a sewing needle to make the darts so it leaks through there

Your contract is with her, not with Rambo. You are entitled to a refund or replacement as the item is not fit for the purpose its intended for:D. You dont have to wait for her to take it up with Rambo - thats her contract with them.

I had a problem with a saddle I had bought months earlier. I went onto the citizens advice bureau and printed out all the relevant pages so I had a bit of back up and managed to get a new saddle. You can either get a new rug from her or your money back.

How bloody annoying I really rate Rambo rugs as well.

I work in equine retail and yes all rug companies policy is to send the rug back to be tested before I can replace/refund. If I don't than iv broke the contract I have with the company and lose all money on that rug. Which believe me would brake the company with the amount off rug which come back at times.

Def return the rug or I would actually ring horeware direct and go mad at them and make them pay for postage and packageing for return off said rug.

sounds like a design fault and rambo may be already aware. maybe contact their customer services first, they were quite helpful when i contacted them but then I was wanting shorter surcingles for my wug and they sent them for free rather than making a complaint.

i don't think my rambo's have any darts but i dont have the same version as you.
