rambo sizing compared to fal

Is it true that rambo sizing comes up smaller than fal? my mare is a 6'6ft in fal but was thinking of getting her a new rambo turnout and was thinking i might need a 6'9ft? any one got rambo rugs that can help?

My mare is a size or two bigger in rambos.

It depends on the rambo rug. My horse wears a 6'6 bug rug, 6'9 field rug and 7' stable rug - all Rambos. That is really helpful isn't it

Yes you will need a bigger rambo than you will a fal. My horse is 5ft 9 in Fal and 6ft in Rambo

I agree, especially is your horse is heavier. My gelding needed 2 sizes bigger in the rambo to be big enough for his wide chest. Stick with the fal rugs, much better!

Fals are generous, whereas Rambo (and Rhino, I found) are not! My horse takes a 6'6" in everything BUT Fals and Horseware turnouts. She takes a 6'3" Fal and a 6'9" Rambo/ Rhino.

Love rambo, my lad is 6 foot in them and weatherbeeta, but 5'9 in fal and masta stable (but 6'in masta turnouts)
Rambo better than fal (Dont tear as easily) x

Its all in the cut at the neck with fal and rambo. Rambos are cut slightly further up the neck-if you look at the pictures of the rug you can see it-its harder to describe than I thought!! Fal is more traditional in its cut.
