What’s the difference?

I’ve bought a second hand summer series and thought I use it so much and it’s a great fit that I’d quite like a new one. The one I bought is great but did come with s bit of damage that had been roughly home repaired, it’s fine I was very happy for the price I’d paid to give one a go and know it’s something I’ll get a lot of use out of.
They look similar, what’s the actual difference in the two?
My (summer) had a waterproof section below the mesh which imo makes it better, it that all?

I love mine but either it's shrunk or my horse has grown. :(
That’s annoying! I do think they are slightly small in sizes. I usually buy 6’6 but as this one was second hand and cheap it was 6’9 but actually fits perfectly.
Did yours used to fit?

Thanks M1stify! I’m thinking summer still then.

It was always a little tight around the withers but I think it has got worse. My horse just turned 5, so she's growing and filling out.

Her winter turnout rugs are both 5'9 Amigo Heros, one 0g, the other 50g, and she wore them 24/7 all winter with no rubbing or issues. I assumed the 5'9 Summer Series would be similar in fit. I'm dreading putting the Heros back on. If they don't fit now, I will be sad.

Currently, it seems as if most of the world is sold out of Summer Series. I attempted to buy a 6' one but was told they are out. I changed the order to the 6' Amigo 3-in-1. At least it's cheaper. Hope it works. Does anyone have one?

They have them here in 6’ at a decent price. Free post. I’ve bought from this place before and they are good

I tried her in the Amigo 3-in-1. She didn't look impressed, and I didn't like the way it looked on her. So sending that back.

I've found a used Summer Series in 6' and another one at 6'3. Not sure what would be the most likely to fit her. She is getting quite beefy and Spanish in her neck and shoulders. Argh, decisions!

From my experience (my one second hand one!) my horse is in the larger of his size range. He too is fairly wide so I think I’d be inclined to go 6’3 🤷‍♀️

Went for the 6'3 and tried it on her. I think it will work. It felt like it had enough room around her neck and chest.

Anyone want a 5'9 one?
