Have decided that her royal orange ness who is normally just a bit of a rubber around her tail is having a really BAD year, as not only has she possible buttercup related scabby bits but has also now got a couple of bare patches near her tail and one isn't where she could rub it so am fearing the SI word. Haven't had issues like this before and we are in a windy exposed location.

Have stopped her fast fibre she has supps in as I heard that might not be great for some re itchiness, so now just chaff. But I think she needs a SI rug too at least until she is healed up.

Since this might not be a regular thing, I don't want to go all out for a Boett so was considering a Rambo SI hoody.

Thing is , she isn't normally rugged, the rugs she does own are 6 foot 6 even tho she's only 14"2, but she was porkier when she got them.

So I was thinking of risking 6 foot 3, but only if they don't come up small, these rugs.

Can anyone tell me if these rugs tend to come up small or big or true to size, she's a Haflinger and her other rugs (the 6 6 ones) are FAL turnout (fits fairly well), Masta (like a big dress, toooo big!)

They seem to be pretty true to size to me. My horse is a 6.6" generally, but for some unknown reason I went for a 6'9" in the Rambo Hoody. (I think someone said they came up small) It swamps the poor horse. I now have a 6' 6" and it is just perfect and fits neatly like the other rugs I have in a 6'6".Hope this helps.

True to size for my Dales ponies. Copes well with their chunkinesses. But then I use Masta and Weatherbeeta turnouts in the same sizes and those work ok on them too.

My TBx is a 6'6" in Mark Todd rugs but isn't more than a 6'3" in Rambo - I've just bought him a Rambo fly rug and even the 6'3" is a smidge big in places.
I used to find them perfect for my chunky Irish girl.

I've got a traddie cob: typically robust with a large framer and even larger backside - and the Rambo SI hoody does him very well. Came up true size. I'd recommend their rugs every time.

Also would recommend the Premier Equine ones: cheaper than Rambo but still very serviceable. Have had mixed experiences with sizing; one rug I bought was a bit small, but the ones I've bought lately have come up a bit bigger than true size.

They come up a smidgen big if anything
.
I have a Rambo Hoody and not hugely impressed with fit or design. I've also bought a Shires Sweetitch Combo and much happier with it. Less than half the price and a much better design and quality.would totally recommend them over the horseware one. I've now bought a second Shires rug and going to sell the (6'9) rambo
