Rambo Sweet Itch Rug

Hi. I bought a rambo sweet itch rug today and put it on my mare, she usually doesn't mind wearing a rug but seemed really unhappy with her ears through the holes. Has anyone else had any problems with them? Will she get used to it? And do they rub the ears?

My mare wears one regularly throughout the summer. The only problem I have had is that the holes for the ears came over her ears so the to was over her eyes making her blind. She ran through the fencing in panic.

I have a mare who wears one, she is really funny about her ears but doesn't seem to mind the ear holes,she will not wear a mask with ears though. Hers doesn't rub her ears at all. It will probably take a few days for your girl to get used to it. Also, we are really troubled with those horrid little black flies that nibble inside their ears at the minute, might be worth making sure her ears aren't sore from them.
