Hiya,

Does anyone have any idea what weight this rug is? Bought it second hand, no label with fill information. It appears to be the older style wug, purple and green binding, no leg arches.

Thanks!

I love wugs, but I don't think you’ll be able tell if it hasn’t got a label in.

As you say it will be an older rug as the wugs have had three belly straps and leg arches for a while now. The filling will likely have flattened out too, but as long as it is still waterproof it’ll still be a good rug 🙂.

Thank you!

Ah that's fair enough! I just wondered if anyone recalled having one the same and what weight it might have been; but that's a good point about the filling flattening!
To be fair, it feels pretty good and I got it cheap, washed, repaired and re-proofed in one of the second hand tack shops near me, so thought I'd give it a try!

Thanks again! :)

I had a purple one but it was a newer version of that. (Although I got it years ago now)
It lasted years and was such a good rug. It was a 200g.

Those purple ones were the absolute bees knees when they came out. I can’t remember them having weights as such I think we just looked at them as being medium or heavy.

Those wugs go forever, why can't they make them as good these days. I recall new they were pretty warm but I think I would treat as 150/200g
