Ranches near Nashville, USA

Not to ride I'm afraid. We are going in May and stopping in a cabin on a farm 15 minutes from downtown Nashville. I'm really looking forward to it.

Cool - we are also hoping to go in May. Still in the planning stages currently but want to spend couple of days in Nashville, couple at ranch riding and then go to Dollywood!!

No but it has been in the planning stages for years. We are doing the country music scene but hoping to travel around a bit. We are def visiting Franklyn. I know you are pretty close to walking horse country in Nashville. ( can't remember the city although I can remember the useless piece of knowledge that the same city is also famed for feinting goats!) and there should be loads of riding oportunitys up in the smokies but may be quite touristy.

We are doing a bit of a country music tour too, then hoping to go ranching before ending up in Pigeon Forge and Dollywood!
Tried googling but not many places came up, one sounded perfect until I read a bit more and it included stopping along the trails for bible study; we are not religious so this was off putting. My grasp of georgraphy is not great, at one point I was thinking of popping to Texas for the ranching but subsequently realised this would be way too much of a detour!
Hope you have a fantastic time! :)

Lol Texas is also on my todo list but it's a huge state on its own. Kentucky is not far from Nashville and that's a big horse state. We were planning at stopping in townsend in the smokies but as we are only there for a week decided the drive there and back was too much.

Quite a few places came up on google if you are just looking for trail rides near Nashville. The reviews made me giggle 'the horses are mean, mine tried to get
me off its back by walking under a branch' rofl!
