Hey, just wondering if anyone knows anythng about either of these stallions? I know my horse is by Rum Laddie (Norfolk/Norwich area) and there are a few SJ'ers and eventer by him drifting about but by googling Rum Laddie a horse callled Golden Ranger keeps popping up as an old school (1970's) sire in Belgium from arab lines. Not sure if they are actually palomino themselves or just throw pallys regularly. I know its a long shot and not very exciting but im just interested to find out about my old boys breeding after 13 years of owning him!

Well there are details for Golden Ranger on this link http://www.sporthorse-data.com/d?d=Ranchwood+Golden+Ranger&x=18&y=16

The only Ranchwood reg with BSJA 306414 is RANCHWOOD BANANA SPLIT grade B stallion states stood 157.4 & would be 16yrs (1995 Pal)

PS
There is nothing on the Central Prefix for Ranchwood & none of the horses recorded with NED show any breeding info

Hi in reply to you question. I have a mare by 'Laddie" and she was out of a welsh mare as Sally used to run a few with him. Mine is a cremello and I bought her to New Zealand with me and hope to breed with her this year. I have had her 16 years and she is a great jumper and has the ranchwood buck an inherited trait!! Would be great to follow the line further!

Ranchwood rumladdie was a palamino TB stallion that was never ridden due to an injury he received as a youngster. I have had horses sired by him and they are very special with extraordinary temperaments. My mare by him is much loved and a great jumper and bucker!! There are a few cremellos by him on the circuit too I know the youngster I had went to Maureen Holdens yard. I am now based in New Zealand with my mare whom I flew over and hope to breed with her this year!

Hi there. i am at what used to be the Ranchwood Palomino's Stud owned by Sally Branson. its now become a livery yard. but if you would like i could ask Sally Branson for some information of your horse as she was the breeder and owner of all of these horses. :)

Hi I brought a tb x back in September that's name is The Last Macoy (Mack).
He was sired by Ranchwood Rum Laddie. And was born in April 2010. Would the stud have record of the dame as his passport is empty..
Thanks x

Klinehan, I know mack I saw him when he was about a month old when I went to look at the foals at foot that Sally had for sale, told my friend about him and she bought him for her daughter whom I assume you bought him from ( in cosstessy) I have a 2010 from rum laddie too which was his last crop as taken by redwings shortly after I believe
