Has anyone else ever had a horse where they can see the food being swallowed really clearly?
I've had my connie 9 years now, and only recentley have I noticed that I can see the food move down his neck when he swallows - like a ball.... I'm not sure why I haven't noticed it before but it's wild! It's like the scene in The Mummy when the guy gets a Scarab Beetle under his skin! I was just doing his water and watching him eating the other week and noticed it.
His teeth have been done recently - no issues there.
My other horse, and other horses at the yard it's not something you can see. And it's not something I've ever noticed before on a range of horses.
Doesn't seem to affect him in any way, but he does have Melanoma's behind his jaw/under his ears - so I'm always wary of them growing.
Just wondering if anyone else has seen this? Might be totally normal and just something I've never looked at!
I'll try get it on film later!
