Random question, how much is my horse worth?

Bought a 3 year old , 14.3hh, Welsh sec D mare last month... have fed her up and started lunging her and have sat on her and walked around.
GOOD POINTS
Totally unfazed by anything, anyone could get on her and walk around, doesnt even look at tractors, cars and will walk past anything like big loud farm machinery.
Brilliant friendly temperment and easy to look after.
She is from Hilgarth stud, breeding lines are Thorneyside more magic. Fully reg welsh d, teeth and feet are up to date since i bought her, also has just had her first injections started.
She is a beautiful horse.
BAD POINTS
The only bad point i know of is that she has a slightly capped hock, not noticeable but if u feel it there is a tiny bit around.

She looks gorgeous, as for "how much" I was always told that a horse/car/house is only ever worth what someone is willing to pay for it so I'm not a lot of help but I do think she's lovely....
 
yeah i payed £1300 for her, but have spend a few hundred on getting her back to health including things like shod, injections, wormed and teeth done.

Love her she has the best temperment you could ask for

Will the capped hock effect her price in the future if I decide to sell her in a few years
 
A horse, like eveything else is only worth as much as someone is prepared to pay for it. Breeding is no guaruntee of success without the right back up. To me my NF is priceless and I was offerd £6k for her a few years back....I thought they were mad but still not selling her. Capped hock will affect her value, and I think counts her out for showing, but I'm not 100% on that, besides I have heard tell of showing classes being run for those that have slight imperfections.
 
Capped hock wouldn't bother me but I event. Showing it would prob be a no no but all other comp's she should be fine with. She looks nice and I think with a bit more work would be worth more. Unfortunately teeth, feet, worming, back treated, vaccs etc do not add value to a horse! Until a horse is ridden away and can work well on flat and has begun jumping, its value will not increase much. Good luck x
