i ordered a new hat in january as mine doesnt fit very well from a well known website

after some confusion in what size id ordered they left a message on my home answer machine [my fault i do not pick my messages up] but after no contact they didnt try again!

they allegedly sent me 2 emails - neither did i recieve

so after this hiccup i sorted out with them end of feb with the size i wanted and they ordered it over from holland or wherever it is so they told me

aaaand i still have no hat!!!!!!

they said they posted it and it must be lost in the post!!

Surely this is not satisfactory?????????????!!!!?!?!?!?!!?!?!

i have also had an ebay item that hasnt arrived and they reckon theyve posted it.

do you really think 2 packages couldve been lost in the post??? or am i being spun a line?? im really #***ed off this is £100 in total of stuff ive paid for and not recieved im not made of ££ why is this happening to me

how long has it been since you won the ebay item? terrible about the hat though. Still I'd make sure that your getting your post ok. Do you have any neighbours it may have gone to by accident? If not its time to complain!

Is it the same company that you ordered the hat from then the item from Ebay.
I recently ordered a hat from a dressage website and it was a complete nightmare.
Hope you get it sorted.

well the payment for the ebay item cleared in the first week of march, the persons communication has been very slow indeed they claimed to have a family tragedy and apologised for late sending - i fully believed this as they had good feedback - they said theyd post that week (this was 1 week ago) and now shes saying its been sent and i shouldve got it

the hat was allegedly posted on the 5th but they have p'd about so much im not sure i believe them

the ebayer item im not too sure of but the shop im really annoyed about - ive never ever had such problems shopping online ive been doing it for years!!

what shop was it? Doesnt sound good to me!
Have you written an email to them cataloguing the timeline and their replies?I did this recently and all of a sudden

my item arrived 2 days later via courier! (how unsurpising!)
I think sometimes you have to kick up a stink for them to listen.

I know that alot of the online companies complaint emails go straight to the MD so you tend to get a quick response!!!

cool thanks for tip will do. i sent them an email this am asking for full address and proof of postage. it will no doubt take them days to rpely as with all my other emails.

if nothing comes of that i will let them know quite clearly how unhappy i am!!

dont want to name as think i get in trouble for liable or something???
its a mainly dressage supplies internet based shop x

Sounds a bit suss really. Mind you, I ordered stirrups from a website and waited weeks and weeks, kept phoning and they said they had been having trouble importing them. I thought they were making it up, but shock horror - 2 months later my stirrups turned up! Better late than never

. Can they provide proof they have sent the stuff, like a courier consignment number or something, then at least you can try and track it.

yeh def try and track the package if u can, but I would kick up a fuss anyway and let them know how long you have waited. I'd be very concerned about the ebay though, cos the hat they can always send again but what postage did u pay for the ebay thing? Is it trackable or insured?

the reason I say is I've shopped off ebay for years now, and one parcel arrived damaged once and one never arrived, which I suppose is ok considering how much have got off ebay, but I was really annoyed though. Luckily I managed to get my money back from the post office though through some claim orother but I forget how I did it now.

It's certainly not good enough from an online shop...their business survives on good communication....have you checked you spam folder, sometimes emails can end up in there.

nope definately not i check my junk daily and once i emailed them i got a reply ok after a few days so they had the right address!

i will wait there reply and if its not "we will send you another right away" then i will kick up a fuss.

just wasnt sure where i stand if they say theyve posted it and have proof of postage but the post office have lost it for example i dont understand what i should really do if thats the case

They should claim if it got lost. They should have claimed the first time round from Royal Mail. Make sure you dont pay each time it gets "lost". Id just ask for a refund and order elsewhere personally.

If its the shop i`m thinking of, then i have heard of others who had the same thing happen.

hmmm sounds like they are having me on then - annoyingly the only provide email and fax contact no telephone number. think its time i write an official complaint and post it i emailed them yesterday and heard nothing back so far, not very proffesional!!

I'd google them and ring them up. People seem to ignore emails, but its much more difficult to ignore an angry customer on the phone. I hate it when websites dont have a phone number, really irritating! (Wont buy from anyone who doesnt list a number!!)

Ahh haa that is the shop I was talking about but she does have a phone number under another company website! I wrote a post about them on here not long ago as I had a nightmare with them. After me sending them tons of emails I heard nothing from them for weeks. Finally when I managed to locate the phone number and speak to her mum!!**!! (she seems to be the personal assistant!) I got an email the very next day. Asked them to refund my money straight away and they did. Would never buy from them again.
Go to ebay
Click on community
Type in their company name with no spaces (you know who they are!)
Click on their name and then go to their shop page
scroll down and on left you will see a button shop pages and just under that highlighted ....about the seller .
Click on that and it will explain who they are but yet still no contact numbers! Scroll right to the bottom click on where it says Gills website and hey presto takes you to another website with all her contact details on.
Good luck in talking to her mum!!
