okay so mum & daughter (m&d) have been at the same yard as me for nearly a year now. We have a lovely YO who can be strict but only wants the best/fairest soloution for everyone. They have never really got on as M thinks she always knows best althought she is completly unhorsey & this is her daughters first horse.
Last weekend their horse was very poorly on serval drips etc etc, they didn't even bother to ring the YO to let her know even after the vet had left. YO stayed down all weekend to let these people have some time out to gte lunch & do a few things. M&D don't even say thank you.
Yesterday M lost her keys had the whole yard looking for them, she was hysterical & now we know why.
We came down the yard this morning to find the trialer & their pony gone - we assumed they had gone to a show, which is fair wnough maybe they had just fogot to tell us. By 5pm they still were not back.
YO receives a text saying 'hi, we have found a new yard, send us the bill & we will drop the keys off at some point'
How rude is that ?!?!
Still no thanks for anything the YO has done for them over the past year & not even an explanation. The YO actually seemed quite upset that they hadn't told her as she is a doen to earth lady she said she would of helped with any transport had they needed it etc. instead they get up at 4 in the morning to get away beofre anyone else comes down ?
This family all have very respected jobs & far too much money. I am just appaled at how rude it was of them, very childish aswell
ARGHH
Rant over

Chocolate fingers for everyone & i apoligise for my spelling/grammar

I agree - that's totally pathetic but may be better in the long run as sound very ungrateful.

I've known a few people who've done midnight flits with horses etc and one couple actually abandoned the horse they had on loan!! YO had to try to trace the owner - gorgeous horse it was too.
