So after a month of box rest with severe mud fever dizzy's legs were finally scab free and not looking like tree trunks! She had also been working lovely and yesterday went back in the field as its pretty much dry now. However low and behold this morning I had the phone call from the lovely lady who does the liveries to say that dizzy is lame AGAIN!
So far into my ownership we have had back problems, a couple of abscesses, puncture wound, mud fever and she also cast herself and has had radial nerve paralysis from a kick in the field! We have not gone longer than two weeks without her having to go on box rest!!!!!!!!
I have decided to keep her out in the field with the lameness as she isn't hobbling and the poor mare is sick to death of hay all the time! There is no swelling or obvious injury! Will speak to farrier and vet after I have been down there this evening. Don't know how much more of a beating my bank can take especially as I am being made redundant at the end of this month!

Dizzy if you can somehow see or hear this please can you just stay sound for one bloody month!!!!!
