DM,

TWH's in the US are pretty easy to find, most gaited breeds are. There are whole Forums dedicated to them specifically. Google for studs and you get pages of them.

An informative (and friendly) site is: www.gaitsofgold.com

----easy its a Poitou (Used in france to breed mules)They did nothing but stand in the stable and were just bought out to mate the mares (Which is why their conformation is so bad)
Only popular in this country because the Donkey Sanctuary had them.Prefer Andulusians myself they ARE rare http://www.giantdonkey.co.uk/thedonkey.htm
American Mammoths are the real giants 15/17hhs (if you check on King Calico you will see he's 64"(16hhs)

Currently I own a Reg ID (think the registered ones are still on the rare breed list, but not exactly exotic)

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes - same here, they may not be exotic but definately extremely rare

We have a pure bred ID as well! And a number of Dales ponies - who are also on the Critical rare breeds list (and need as much help as possible!)
