Rash

My pony has broken out into a rash, he has lots of swellings all over his body and some of them have burst and have produced a yellow liquid (not a thick puss), which dries and then the hair falls off with the yellow scab. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing it. Noting has changed in his diet. He is not in work anymore and he has Cushings.

Any ideas much appreciated?

Could he of eaten anything from the bushes? Or is he accesable from any passes by that could be feeding him something? Im guessing with cushings that he wont be on rich haylege so its not to much protein. I know you can get lumps with stomach ulcers and possibly liver damage also.
