Rauti in yellow *pics*

really like the boots, look super smart.

good luck for the competing !!

See, Prince33Sp4rkle just can't complement you on the ensemble, because your top's not yellow... *sigh*
;) ;)

I hadn't even noticed the gorgeous boots, too preoccupied with looking at the stunning horse, your beautiful seat and enviably slim legs, and the BANANA YELLOW parts...!

I have to confess I'm disapointed, after the high standards you and PSp4rkle set I was expecting a matching t-shirt. Standards these days slipping everywhere you look.
;)

He looks gorgeous! To quote another wise HHO like a scrummy banana split!
If he ever wants a holiday in sunny old Australia he is welcome to come and visit and will recieve 5* treatment (with extra carrots) on the condition he explains the concept of a 'medium canter' to Beau.

You both look stunning, his canter looks more and more uphill everytime I see him! And you sit so nicely on him :-)

I love the boots too, I prefer them to the brown Konigs actually. Will have to investigate!

Looking fantastic. The yellow really really suits him and I love the medium canter pic.

I passed on a yellow set about a year ago and I have kicked myself ever since! x

Thank you all!

Dressager, I had the same dilemma for a long time (Petrie v Koenig). The Koenig top-of-the-range model is about £100 cheaper (here at least), which is why I was really close to buying the Koenigs, but the problem is that *everybody* has got a pair of brown Koenigs and I desperately wanted something a little bit different! The Koenig brown is gorgeous, I actually prefer it to the Anky brown, but it's so common! At least this is a bit different. And the boot itself, irrespective of the colour, is totally gorgeous (but I have always loved Petries)

Re. the matching shirt: I never wear matching polos or t-shirts, I always feel that's taking it a step too far! I do have a yellow pikeur shirt but could never wear it with yellow bandages and pad, shoot me :(

Alas, Australia might just be too far away :(

How do you find the Petries comfort-wise? My brown Konigs (Komet model) are just the most comfortable boots I've ever had once they were broken in. Unfortunately they are starting to look their age and probably next year will need to be replaced. Your Petries do look amazing, but I've never had a pair so not sure if I'd like them! :)

Come try them :)

It took me less than one week to break them in and never had any blisters, amazing! They are very comfortable, but I did use a special spray to help those very first days :D

However I have heard that Koenigs virtually need no breaking-in time at all as they are so comfortable right from the beginning?

Wow those are fab photos! The yellow really suits him. You both look very professional!

that first medium canter pic is amazing!

Think the boots look very nice - may have to go and investigate!

Good luck competing - what level tests are you doing? :)

never mind - i think its better to have trainer than someone with a camera!

also you will have less pressure on you iif there is no 'evidence' lol or is that just me? :)

He is absolutely gorgeous! And I highly approve of the colour - I have a couple of sets of bright yellow bandages & pads!! :) Although I think my yellow may be a bit brighter than yours! :D

What you need now, is a lorry to match...

Not true about Koenigs. I have the scars to prove it :o

I have patent Konig Grandgesters and trust me ive got the scars to prove they are painful!!!! Im not looking forwards to when i start competing again as i will not have worn them for about 4 years by then! I might have to start riding in them once a month but i think its going to kill me!!

my Konig Komets (home boots) killed me feet and legs for about 3 weeks, but my patent grandgesters were lovely from day one, so when i get new home boots will be going for grandgesters....now, cognac or sherry colour?!
