Well after my last post about one of our RC team horses breaking at Blenheim, A little update.
He is stabled and comfortable and will be scanned on Monday, he still has the block and splint on but is fine in himself.
We all went to Lincoln yesterday to compete today. My daughter won her dressage arena with 71.5% which was the highest mark of the day but to decide the champion they work out the average in each arena and put a coefficient on so she did get a sash and rossette but not a rug.Her dressage team came 8th.
In the open sj we had a weakened team, losing our dear friend who I'm sure would have gone clear. It was quite big [1.15, then 1.20 second round] for us and they all had a few down over the 2 courses[ ours being worst] but still came 7th and got lovely rossettes.
Really pleased with the dressage result and had a lovely social time but still waiting for news is hard.
just hope he can retire happily

Well done, shame she didn't win the rug . Hope the scan bring good news on Monday. Our friend won the Novice SJ Championship at Lincoln. Really pleased for her as she has brought her mare on from a green 4 year old. She is an incredibly consistent jumper and brilliant in jump offs. In the last week she has won Championships at both the Midland Ass Riding Clubs and Black Shires, and my daughter was Reserve to her, so daughter is now wishing she had taken Murph to the qualifiers. RC asked her but she was working!

Was this horse the one that injured himself at the double?
It looked pretty serious for a while but we were all relieved when he started to put a bit of weight on the leg. What damage did he actually do?

We were all concerned at the length of time it took for the vet to arrive with the ambulance. It is a very good job your horse just stood so patiently. If it had been in real distress it would have been tryly horrible.

Well done to Claire in the dressage and all in all considering the circumstances not a bad result in the jumping either.

Glad to hear the injured horse is comfortable and hope the scan goes well.

Great results especially given the difficult time you've all had recently.
Hope it's good news on Monday.

Well Done Claire

Read you post above and Yes I think they should have a ride off for the Champion not just work it out on computer.

How did you do at Dressage to Music the other night sorry we did not stay to watch but it would of been to late to get Harry from friends etc on a school night
