RDA Centre closing!

This is the first time i have written on a H&H forum though I have looked up things. A city centre riding school in Cardiff that has been running since 1970 is being closed due to budget cuts! it is also a busy RDA centre and has helped many children get involved with horses without a horsey family background. There is also many older riding school ponies that will probably have to be put down if the riding school closes as it is all they have known. I am hoping this will start a discussion on the importance of places like this in cities and gain some support. I am hoping that there is still time to change Cardiff city councils minds!
 
Would it be worth contacting the RDA headquaters? I know the individual groups have to fund raise for their own riders (I do often wonder what the national money goes to? ) but they may be able to offer some support and spokesperson to the council.
