RDA

I did my first evening volunteering at my local RDA last night, and it was great! Was made to feel so welcome, and the kids were great. Got up this AM to a message from the instructor thanking me for my help. I think i'm going to really enjoy this!

I'm sure you will - I used to teach RDA and absolutely loved it, it's a cliche but it is so rewarding. Where I live now the nearest group is 2 hours away and I really miss it

this is exactly why we brought a pony! I have a little boy called Jack who is six and has cerebral palsy, we brought Harry as a therapy pony for him and although he doesnt get to ride him as much as we would like (as Harry is a pickle) even spending time with him or leading him around is fantastic therapy, and Harry isnt frightened of Jacks walking frame at all which is a bonus, IF I can work out how to post pictures one day I will attach one x

I have applied to my local RDA to be a volunteer - just waiting to hear back from them. Really hoping they will take me on.
