RE: Best supplement for an anaemic horse (also in Competition Riders)

Following a recent blood test my horse was found to be slightly anaemic with a low red blood cell count but normal white blood cell count.

Please can anyone recommend the best product to overcome this?

I have found Red Cell to be the most effective for my TB who periodically suffers from anaemia. (& it didn't send him off his head either!)

I found that red cell gave my horse more energy but didnt actually imrpove his blood counts when retested.

I found vi-sorbin and haemavite works better, seeing actual increase in red cell levels.

Currently on haemavite b plus as found it was the most cost effective

GUINNESS!!!!!!!! It is the best thing ever, absolutely brilliant, my TB is very anaemic to the point it affects really affects him, i just give him a can of guiness a day and he is absolutely fab on it!!! with none of the added fizz assicated with something like propell!!! honestly its brilliant, a traditional remedy that really works.
