Re Deleted Thread

Get some big men on your yard. maybe padlock your gate so he cant get in and i would def call the police. he sounds like he is slightly unbalanced.
Good luck.

Cowboy, can you up your security for the time being? Alarms? CCTV? (my husband installs both, so let me know if you need more info and I'll ask him)

Any large blokes you can gather round - let the guy come and see your horse, and scare him off?

Have you spoken to the police?

I'm not surprised you're scared. I would be! Still, he seems to me to be a dreamer who's not on the same planet as the rest of us (trust me, I did internet dating lol, and there's a lot of them out there). He's probably got reasonable computer knowledge and not a lot else.

Hope it all works out. Looks like a lot of HHO'ers are on your side (even if some of them haven't thought things through fully).

I'm sure they will understand, plus you never know if this person has been reported before for other reasons etc so what you might think is wasting their time (well obviously not to you ...but you get my drift) could actually be important info to them etc.

Hope everything works out.

At least if you report it to them, if anything does happen, they'll take your suspicions seriously.

I'm sure it won't, so try to relax, and invest in a LARGE padlock that can't be cut - it'll put your mind at rest

I'd quite like to know what an aii is lol.

As far as I knew - AI = assistant instructor, II = intermediate instructor, I = instructor.

Maybe the BHS has changed since my last dealings with them

But yes, you're right, if you have a contact, it would be worth asking, if just to put Cowboy1's mind at rest.

They should take it seriously but at least it will give you peace of mind that you have contacted them about this and they know about it incase he decides to come to your yard anyways.
Is there any where you can move your horse to for the meantime?

Of course - no offence meant to WhoaBoy .... but I think giving out information in any form regarding addresses etc over the net is a dangerous business !

Hope you understand.

I doubt the police will be particularly helpful to be honest. I caught two blokes coming out of my yard last week at 6 o'clock in the morning. Got the registration numbers and rang the police but there was nothing they could do.

If the police aren't interested, definitely increase your security and try and make sure the yard is manned at all times for as long as you can arrange it. CCTV, noisy big dogs, padlocks and chains and some hefty men around the place. The man is unbalanced, which is not particularly reassuring for you! Good luck.
