I posted on Wednesday night, upset that the vet had advised my ex racer be PTS as I had recurrent lameness problems ( I thought he looked footsore but both the vet and farrier said no, he just has crap legs)
I rang that night to arrange to have him put to sleep on Thursday morning, slept on it and cancelled it on Thursday early a.m thinking I would give him the summer to see if he comes sound.
Farrier came again yesterday and I took him for a small walk down the road, he still didn't look right.
I went to the field this morning and he was on three legs, absolutely hopping lame. Called another farrier as I was sure it was his feet and mine is away now and he has a CORN!!!!!
I am so mad at everyone for giving up on him grrrrr I said it was his feet all along and everyone said no it's not and I nearly had him PTS. He's already more sound just from having his shoe removed and the poison dug out.
grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.
