re homing racehorses

I went to Ascot sales last week and I was surprised how cheap the majority of the horses were sold for. I was chatting to a trainer who told me that if I was interested in a horse I should give her a ring and she would probably have something available. I went to her yard on Sunday - in Newmarket. There were two lovely young horses, but far too small for me. If anyone was interested in them, pls PM me and I can pass on the details.

I have been offered one which is good to ride but bites when you handle him,

Acsot is the dumping ground for racehorses I am affraid. It is usually the broken, old, useless, dangerous or generally pointless racehorses that go to Ascot Sales. If the horse was worth any money as a racehorse it would go through Tatts, DBS or GOFFS. You can pick up a good bargain there if you know what you are looking for.
