so, after 3 days box rest, lots of cold hosing, stable bandages, no bute, and a bit of TLC Ron is now sound (at least 95%) and after cold hosing him again this evening I decided to turn him out on his own in the starvation paddock.
I moved the other one into the other field so they could see each other but (hopefully) wouldn't charge around too much. Or so i thought! Ron did laps of this tiny field, bucked, farted, reared, squealed and did stupid little bucks where he spins round whilst he does it....
have since concluded that he must have had a touch of lami because he's still sound despite his best efforts!
