Latest 'excuse' for my friend to not come to stables to ride H etc was:

'i was in a foul mood'

I have not seen any other posts on this so don't know the background but I actually think it is sensible not to ride if you are feeling very grumpy and short tempered

Sorry, she was in a foul mood.

I just feel its the latest reason to not come.

I can't even get hold of her now as she's turned one phone off and only looks at the other once a day so anyones guess whether she'll bother to come tonight or tomorrow, but most likely she won't.
 
Perhaps she has turned her phone off so you don't keep calling. Maybe she has issues going on, so just doesn't want to ride, but doesn't know how to tell you, or doesn't what to divulge here personal problems to you......Don't know what the arrangement is, but if she is just coming to ride your horse to keep it exercised and doesn't have any responsibility to care for it or anything, then what is the problem??? I personally wouldn't ride if I was in a foul mood and wouldn't want anyone else to ride my horse in a mood either.
 
I haven't been persistantly calling her ta very much.

Am a bit peed off because she is not at work now until after New Year, she promised to help me over the Christmas and New Year period as i currently have 10 horses in my sole care (4 of which need exercising regularly) and she said she would help.

Sorry thought you were just annoyed that she had turned-up to ride your horse, didn't relise she had offered to help with 10 horses!!!
 
In my experience it is best to assume you don't have any help and then when you get it, it is just the best thing ever.

I asked the girl who rides my horse a couple of times a week if she would like her own horse. I stupidly assumed she just wasn't allowed one but no, her answer was she didn't want to be tied to looking after a horse everyday when she could be out with her mates. (Sensible girl, hahahahaa)!

I dont like people 'helping' me, not even my mum (who taught me everything. I am really OCD about my horses rugs, beds, haynets, water buckets etc ....... its far less stressful doing it myself than have to watch them and make sure they do it my way and then when they go I have to re-do it anyway
